The Marin Artisan company was started in the belief that handmade is better.
Crafted in small batches of select ingredients, all of our products are handmade with the aspiration that a life close the land is more sustainable and healthier for both us and those who come after us. We first forayed into the world of soap 30 years ago and as we experimented with different ingredients and different methods, we learned that we could create a soap that was not only good for you, but smelled amazing, and was long lasting.
Soap led to other body care and bath products, while at the same time our personal connection with a land-based, agrarian community opened our eyes to the world of artisan and gourmet foods.
Other hand Crafts followed, basketry, pottery, woodworking, blacksmithing, and we have slowly but surely curated a collection of items that we believe are made in some of the best handcrafted traditions, of the finest ingredients and materials, that produce beautiful and enduring products for your home, your kitchen, and your life.
